What
is a powerflush?
Power
flushing is a simple method of removing problematic
sludge deposits from a central heating system.
A
power flush machine is connected to your heating
system via either the pump valves or radiator tails.
The machine is filled and the system is then flushed
through with clean water. All radiators are then
closed and opened one at a time to remove sludge from
each individual radiator. A vibrating tool is also
used on each radiator to aid cleansing. The dirty
water is then dumped from the system, and cleansing
chemicals are added.
The
whole process is repeated again. After completion the
now clean system is dosed with corrosion inhibitor and
filled with fresh clean water.
For
extra protection a Magnaclean can be installed.
